J-PAL North America's "Introduction to Economics" workshop provides high school students with the opportunity to engage with the field of economics and understand how they can use economics as a tool for social change. This workshop explores questions, including but not limited to: *What is economics? *How are my passions and the field of economics connected? *What is it like being an economics student? *What topics do economists study? *What career pathways are available in economics? *If I’m interested in economics, what should I do next?
