Brief Biographical Sketch:
Emmy is a junior at Yale University who loves teaching for Splash. She has been a co-director for the Sprout and Splash programs at Yale. Outside of Splash, Emmy plays ultimate frisbee on the Club Women's team and works in a protein lab. Take a peek into the country known as the “Hermit Kingdom.” In 50 minutes, we will blast through 50+ years of history, beginning with the formation of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, and explore North Korean culture and the state of human rights in this isolated country. You will begin to understand why relations between the US and North Korea become more and more strained.
